Oceans cover more than 70% of the Earth, play a key role in the climate, drive weather patterns and absorb a vast amount of carbon dioxide. But oceans are warming along with the rest of the planet. Those warmer waters fuel more powerful hurricanes. The warming ocean’s impact on climate disasters is the topic of author Porter Fox’s new book “Category Five: Superstorms and the Warming Oceans that Feed Them.”
